We had a wonderful stay at Casa Escuela in a charming hillside area. The building itself was lovely and we enjoyed the character-filled rooms with beautiful sea views from the window and balcony. The lady owner was friendly and cute, making us feel right at home. the location was great, just a short walk from the port and many excellent restaurants. The room was spacious and I particularly loved the high ceilings and unique floor. I would highly recommend this hotel for its value, location, and charming atmosphere.
Although there were some minor drawbacks such as tricky to find the hotel and the lack of a receptionist, these were easily overlooked in comparison to the overall enjoyable stay.

The quadruple room at Casa Escuela was such a cozy haven with a terrace that offered breathtaking views of the sea! As a business traveler, I couldn't resist starting and ending my day with such an awe-inspiring sight.
Although others might find it delightful, I personally found the shared bathroom with a shower in the quadruple room a bit inconvenient. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

I recently stayed at Casa Escuela in Valle Gran Rey for a few nights. The view from the room was amazing! The whole place has a great climate and vibe. It may not be the highest quality, but it is definitely great value for money. The staff were nice and it was a perfect stay. The location was just 10 minutes away from the beach. The wifi was decent and the room had a nice old-style charm. There was also a kitchen available for use. I highly recommend staying here for a unique and enjoyable experience.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
